About Dharsh Beath

Dharsh completed her medical education at the University of Melbourne and surgical training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons before being selected for advanced fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at Wrightington Hospital in the United Kingdom.

Wrightington Hospital is internationally regarded as a centre of excellence for upper limb surgery, known for its pioneering work, high surgical volumes and longstanding culture of innovation. Immersion in this environment strengthened Dharsh’s technical skills and reinforced her commitment to individualised, evidence-based care.

She understands that patients with similar conditions can often have very different goals, lifestyles and pressures, and that treatment must be tailored accordingly.

An Athlete’s Perspective

Dharsh is a Nationally ranked weightlifter,  bringing that same resilience, discipline and a deep appreciation of musculoskeletal biomechanics to her surgical practice. She understands the mindset of active individuals and elite athletes, the drive to return to performance and the need to balance motivation with safe recovery.

These qualities inform her approach to surgical decision making, communication and long-term patient outcomes.
